Kristine Kalaijian has more than 30 years of experience in sustainability and environmental, health and safety program management. Currently, she serves as Director of Environmental Compliance and Sustainability for Philips North America where she oversees environmental compliance and key sustainability performance areas including connect to markets, circular revenue, green product sales, recycling, energy efficiency and substance management. She is the region’s corporate liaison for sustainability initiatives and communications, working closely with the Philips lead on circular economy. Kris also collaborates with the Philips Government Relations team in Washington, D.C. to monitor and influence legislative developments regarding extended producer responsibility and product stewardship initiatives that impact Philips Healthtech products.

In previous roles, Kris led the development of the product stewardship program for Philips Patient Monitoring and Ultrasound Healthcare business, and the Environmental, Health and Safety program for Hewlett-Packard Medical Products Group at the Andover Site.
Kris has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wheaton College, Norton, MA, and a Master’s of Science in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Kris is certified in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene.
